Pek San Teng

Madonna has 4 minutes to save the world, and i have 4 minutes to blog before starting work at 9!

went with swey to support cuong's performance at Bishan's Pek San Teng yesterday. and i thought qing ming in JB was crowded..it's worse in singapore! i don't wanna *choy* here..my children won't be able to find my name amongst the millions of tablets lol.

anyway the HS troupe hadn't arrived, so we started out looking like tourists snapping pics all over. i mean me la..haha swey was too embarrassed by me.

i met Guan Yin and did some prayers.
her statue was beautiful.

met 五虎將 also..though i don't know who they are.

we saw all these beautiful 3D-like murals all over the walls.
yesterday i truly felt embarrassed that i'm so bad at chinese history. i don't even know san guo omg..
what will i teach my kids??

whee!

a small troupe, but i'm truly impressed by their unity - everyone is helping everyone.
it's also strangely the first time i've seen a troupe that doesn't portray the usual "vices" that we see..like smoking and swearing haha. was a nice environment.

saw this at many of the altars they were praying at lol. yum.

cuong (on the right) was so nervous in the beginning haha.
i was damn impressed especially by his shuang fei! and he even did it twice :)

lalala ok la, that's all for escapism. so i took 30 mins!! off to study!
thinking of what to eat for lunch later simply makes me ecstatic :)
