post-exam fun part 1

decided to organize an informal dinner with the free birdies like me haha. considering it a last min outing in the midst of exam period..the turnout was pretty good!

felt like going to bugis to pray first so i dragged ah swey with me after having lunch. we visited the new iluma shopping mall at bugis! damn it's hugeeee. a little too spacious for my liking haha, but it's nice having a new mall once in a while.

at night....

met the rest for dinner at Minang House @ lucky plaza.
haha shit i forgot to take photo of the front door lol! but here's one off the net LOL.

first time i tried such nice authentic indon food here. much much more spicy than canteen A lol.
and no, i did not eat two plates of rice.

yum.
i love the food here! esp the daun singkong and the mutton curry haha. $6 per person, not very cheap but there was drink, mutton, chicken, fish, beef and veg so i suppose it's ok.

and this was their happy soda. dunno what's inside but it was damn niceeeeee!! $3 for two. happy! :)

vietnamese can eat indon food too lol.

then we walked all the way to centrepoint, and back to heeren to waraku restaurant. since john had $20 worth of APOLOGY vouchers to use. whee!

haha what's an outing without beer right?! lol so decided to drop by our favourite hangout at staff club! ok i shall help uncle to advertise now.

for anyone staying nearby NTU, id strongly recommend you to come here if you wanna drink beer. regular beers like asahi, heineken etc go at $5 per bottle only, and draughts go at $17.
so you can drink like 3 bottle for the price of 1 sold at outside pubs, because best of all, there's NO service charge or GST!! and e uncle's really friendly :)

me and sweyyyyyyyyy love this place to bits haha.
btw there's a whole range of other drinks from cocktails to wine too.
there's also pool table and foozball, darts, a small bar and quite a few tables. great music, lighting and it's not too noisy, nice and cosy!

2 viets + 1 indon = havoc.
the viets drink alcohol like water, and they don't get drunk.
