Chong Pang BBQ Steamboat has now moved to Turf City! from marina bay of cos.
hmm all in all, it's probably 10 times more hygenic and organized now then before, at least no kakas lurking in the nearby drains. but it's a totally different ambience, i prefer the old one. more acessible, more value-for-money, and definitely more satisfying.
so curse the IRs!! lol, i hate gambling.
anyway i daresay the variety of food has reduced by almost half, and there's no free ice cream! not even potong (or sotong). you have to pay $1-$1.50 for it now. ok but $16 nett amounted to quite a full and fun DIY dinner.
haven't tried the new Chin Huai Live BBQ steamboat at novena, so can't really make a comparison. i heard it has better food, more pricey, but without the DIY BBQ thinggie anymore.
