阿弟，你要坐吗？~

nope, this isn't some cheap pickup line from an RA show. it was from a sweet lil boy i saw on the mrt today.

while me and skinz were busy balancing ourselves on the train, we saw a little boy with his dad and equally little brother. the little boy (aged 5 maybe?) was running towards an empty seat and after plonking down on his seat he was grinning in triumph. but after he turned around, he saw his dad and bro who were standing beside him. i saw a moment of guilt flash across his eyes. immediately, he stood up and said to his bro:

阿弟，你要坐吗？我不要。

the way he said it so innocently, but yet firmly with a sympathetic tone to his voice..i was so touched! it was obvious how much he wanted the seat (i also wanted it haha), yet he was willing to give it up to his brother. and i just went on and on praising him like he was my hero. cos a lil' boy like him knows how to give up his seat, but selfish adults like us don't. i know that most of the time i do give up my seat to others. but when i'm tired, sometimes i just don't bother.

yup, so today he was my little hero indeed=)
