the pain~

a chinese man in his mid-thirties came home from singapore to jb, tired after a hard day's work. he entered his house only to find his mum lying on the floor unconscious. his brother, half-retarded, stood by her helpless and shivering. shocked, worried and panicked, the man quickly called for a cab to send his mother to the hospital. but in a country where there is no such thing as efficiency, he waited and waited but the cab never came. his mum was barely breathing now, there was just no time to lose and he knew it.

he carried his mum near the gate and ran out of his house, waiting for some kind passer-by to hitch-hike. just as he was on the verge of losing it, a car came by, and stopped. there were three men - 2 malay and 1 chinese. hope - was what he saw. relief - was what he felt. he can save his mum now.

but the 3 men refused to take his mum. too unconscious, they said. he knew that they would be afraid to let a stranger up their car, so he let them take him out to the main road to look for other help. left with no choice, he asked his brother to look after his mum. just for a short while, he said.

but he never came back.

the 3 men drove him to the nearest cemetery, beat him up till he was half-dead, robbed him of his money, and left him in the bushes. pain was all he could feel..he could hardly move. but they were waiting for him at home - he had to save his mum. covered with blood, pain and plain terror, he crawled and crawled towards the main road. alas, a kind passer-by finally picked him up, and sent him back to his house.

but it was too late.

when they reached, he saw his half-retard brother kneeling beside his mother, shivering and crying in pain. the feeling of helplessness and sheer pain..he cried, and cried. but there was nothing he could do anymore - she was gone..

fucking bastards, i hate you. may your conscience haunt you and may you never sleep in peace again. i hope the 3 of you die a horrible death and carry on rotting in hell - where there will never be enlightenment or forgiveness for you. and i pray you will never, ever be able to harm to anyone again.
