couldn't help but add on to pei's blog entry haha.

went with xiao shi to opposite city harvest yesterday. supposed to grab some kim zua and other praying stuff lol. but since we were there anyway, we took a lil tour.

it's not exactly THE place to buy stuff..it's a real torture bargaining with old grumpy aunties. and most old uncles have no idea what you're asking for. so i still prefer the young fruit stall uncles, although they give you more attention than you ask for lol.

anyway while walking, i decided that void deck markets are pretty interesting to roam and i might just come back again..

especially when i saw my dress (which i bought online 3 months ago) selling for $29. but cos the site had labelled it EXCLUSIVE TO ********* only, i bought it at #33 -_-"

shit, i wore that to kor's graduation la.

but i wasn't the only idiot, since they only had 3 pieces of it, there must be 2 other idiots somewhere right? oh wait..or did they lie about having 3 pieces too?

argh..nvm, i'll take the $4 as postage fee!

so i asked skinz, why is it that we're willing to spend extra money to buy the same things from bugis, orchard, or even online...but nobody is wants to shop at their void deck for clothes? i bet they sell the same stuff at pasar malams as well.

and the irony? we go to indonesia, malaysia, china, taiwan, thailand to visit their 'pasar malams' and come back bragging about our cheap steals haha.
